👁️‍🗨️Locking and Charging Tomorrow (That Is All) - Survey Finished? 👁️‍🗨️
about 2 months ago – Wed, Aug 12, 2026 at 11:05:20 AM

Yep, it's another Campfire update email. You love to see it! We keep your inbox warm with insulation.

We're just updating to remind you that we'll lock orders and charge cards tomorrow. This will be with the revised shipping prices, not the terrifying, erroneous shipping prices from earlier this week.

That's all! We just didn't want to surprise you any more than we already have, so thought to send this update.

Thanks! Now go have that uniquely awesome day you were having.

😣Shipping Costs Now Accurate. See Inside, and New Surveys Sending
about 2 months ago – Tue, Aug 11, 2026 at 10:37:50 AM

Apologies again for the inaccurate shipping costs, Campfire backers.

Our final shipping costs are below:
  • US, Single Module: $10
  • US, 4 Modules: $20
  • US, 8+ Modules: $30
  • International, Single Module: $12(this reflects sending it to the author, for distribution in Ireland and the EU, at a reduced cost)

This reflects the lowest cost we calculated for shipping. We apologize for the error on our part (SKUs were set to pounds of weight, whereas shipping cost ranges were only in ounces).

We are unsure if new surveys will be sent to those who responded. It looks like they won't. However, the final shipping costs as set above should apply when cards are charged.

We're staying on top of any messages through BackerKit, via Reply to these threads, and directly to us at [email protected]

Thank you again for your understanding. We're very sorry for this confusion.

🤑Sorry for the Inconvenience - Ignore Shipping Costs on Surveys 🤑
about 2 months ago – Mon, Aug 10, 2026 at 11:20:10 AM

Hey Campfire backers:

The recent surveys have had inaccurate shipping costs, including an egregious domestic US cost. Ignore them, and accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

As we've said in recent updates, we're working to find ways to reduce costs for shipping to the EU.

This has required coordination with the BackerKit team and Wojtek, the author. In the process, inaccurate shipping fees were entered.

We're changing these at once and working with BackerKit on it. We apologize.

Thanks for your support.
